"ఆగ్రా నా రాజధాని. ఆలోచించండి. ఆసమయంలో హిందువులు కృష్ణుణ్ని దేవునిగా, అవతార పురుషునిగా కొలిచేవారు. అతని జన్మస్థానం మధుర. నా రాజధాని ఆగ్రానుండి కేవలం యాభై కిలోమిటర్ల దూరం. కూల్చాలనుకొంటే కృష్ణుని జన్నస్థానం కూల్చలేనా? పరుగెత్తి పరుగెత్తి అయోధ్యవరకు వెళ్లి రాముని జన్మస్థానాన్ని ఎందుకు కూలుస్తా? నలుగురు పిచ్చోళ్ల గురించి నేను తెలుసుకున్న సమాచారం గురించి విన్నవిస్తాను వినండి. అందరికంటే పెద్ద పిచ్చోడు మహాత్మాగాంధీ. రెండో పిచ్చోడు నేతాజీ సుభాష్ చంద్రబోసు. మూడో పిచ్చోడు ఖాన్ అబ్దుల్ గఫార్ ఖాన్. నాలుగో పిచ్చోడు ఒక అదీబ్". వయోవృద్ధ బోధివృక్షం మాట్లాడ సాగింది - ఆర్యుల వర్ణవాదం అప్రాకృతికమైన సిద్ధాంతం. ఎందుకంటే బ్రాహ్మణుల భార్యలు కూడా నెలనెలా బహిష్టుతో బాధ పడుతున్నవారే. వాళ్లూ గర్భవతులవుతున్నారు. వాళ్లూ పిల్లల్ని కంటున్నారు. వాళ్లకు పాలిస్తూ పోషిస్తున్నారు. బ్రాహ్మణులు స్త్రీల గర్భంలో జన్మించినప్పటికీ బ్రహ్మనోటిలో జన్మించామని వాదిస్తారు. బ్రహ్మనోటిలో గర్భాశయం ఎక్కడుంది? రాత్రిసమయంలో ఔరంగజేబు తన విశ్వసనీయుడైన హంతకుడు నజర్ కుతీ బేగును పిలిపించారు. ఆ గూనివాడు వచ్చి నమస్కరిస్తే, "ఖవాసుపుర భవనంలోకి వెళ్లి, సిపిహర్షికోను తండ్రి నుండి వేరు చేయి. ఆ కాఫిర్ దారాషికో తలనరికి, ఆ తల తెచ్చి నాకు చూపించు" అన్నారు ఔరంగజేబు. హంతకుడు నజర్ బేగును చూసి, "ఈ వేళప్పుడు నువ్వు ఇక్కడకు ఎందుకు వచ్చావు?" అన్నాడు దారాషికో. “సిపిహర్షికోను నీనుండి వేరు చేయమని ఉత్తర్వు". అన్నాడు నజర్ బేగు. ఈ మాట విన్న సిపిహర్ షికో జాగరూకుడయ్యాడు. “మమ్మల్ని చంపడానికి నిన్ను పంపారా?" దార కఠినంగా అడిగాడు. హంతకులిద్దరూ బయట నిరీక్షిస్తున్న సైనికులకు సిపిహర్షికోను అప్పగించి దారాషికో ఉన్న గదిలోకి వెళ్ళి తలుపు మూశారు. బయట సిపిహర్షికో వేస్తున్న కేకలు వినిపిస్తున్నాయి. అప్పుడే కోర్టు మీద చీకటి అలముకోసాగింది.

साहित्य में मंज़रनामा एक मुकम्मिल फ़ॉर्म है। यह एक ऐसी विधा है जिसे पाठक बिना किसी रुकावट के रचना का मूल आस्वाद लेते हुए पढ़ सकें। लेकिन मंज़रनामा का अन्दाज़े-बयान अमूमन मूल रचना से अलग हो जाता है या यूँ कहें कि वह मूल रचना का इन्टरप्रेटेशन हो जाता है। मंज़रनामा पेश करने का एक उद्देश्य तो यह है कि पाठक इस फ़ॉर्म से रू-ब-रू हो सकें और दूसरा यह कि टी.वी. और सिनेमा में दिलचस्पी रखनेवाले लोग यह देख-जान सकें कि किसी कृति को किस तरह मंज़रनामे की शक्ल दी जाती है। टी.वी. की आमद से मंज़रनामों की ज़रूरत में बहुत इज़ाफ़ा हो गया है। यह फ़ि‍ल्म ‘इजाज़त’ का मंज़रनामा है। इस फ़ि‍ल्म को अगर हम औरत और मर्द के जटिल रिश्तों की कहानी कहते हैं, तो भी बात तो साफ़ हो जाती है लेकिन सिर्फ़ इन्हीं शब्दों में उस विडम्बना को नहीं पकड़ा जा सकता, जो इस फ़ि‍ल्म की थीम है। वक़्त और इत्तेफ़ाक़, ये दो चीज़ें आदमी की सारी समझ और दानिशमंदी को पीछे छोड़ती हुई कभी उसकी नियति का कारण हो जाती हैं और कभी बहाना। पानी की तरह बहती हुई इस कहानी में जो चीज़ सबसे अहम है, वह है इंसानी अहसास की बेहद महीन अक्कासी जिसे गुलज़ार ही साध सकते थे। इस कृति के रूप में पाठक निश्चय ही एक श्रेष्ठ साहित्यिक रचना से रू–ब–रू होंगे।

Imagine a world where women can do what they please, the way they please, and men be damned! Childhood is simple but teenagerhood is difficult not for the children only but for their parents too. This isthe story about a sincere girl Surveen. Surveen always believed in their parent's points of view in her life. When she entered the teenage phase of her life she started thinking about their point of view towards things. Surveen's parents and Surveen's point of view didn't match all the time. Parents need to understand the teenagers. In the teenage phase, Not only body organ development happening there is mental development too. Different hormones rush into the body of teenagers. But what happens when the simple sincere Surveen turn into a fun-loving girl and started hiding things from parents. roaming with sly friends and started bunking the class. She started feeling the love emotion toward someone. What will happen in Surveen's life next? Does she spoil her school life? Or does Surveen made mistakes in peer influence? or Can Surveen able to find her way of life?

Novel

The novel is about two lovers cum friends, Nihal and Bhoomi, who leave their houses searching for fulfilment. They both have a dream. Nihal wants to win a gold medal in Mega events on an international platform, whereas Bhoomi intends to search for her biological parents as an adopted child. Both of them meet at a certain point and fall in love, and decide to get married even after the divine forces have declined their match. Along with this runs a parallel story of Antra and Apurva, who come from different backgrounds. They also fall in love with their terms for getting married. The story is full of magic realism where God and human beings, myth and reality, participate collectively in a specific direction. The attempt here is to experiment with the phrase: Everything will be alright. Humans tend to say to each other, "Don’t worry, Everything will be alright,” in our sheer exuberance, we keep challenging the unseen forces represented by God. The question that the novel poses before the reader is, “Can everything be alright?” Moreover, the intervention of God or Nature at various places is symbolic in asserting that human beings should not try to behave like the Lord of the Universe.

The River of Blood (Kuruthippunal) was first published in Tamil in 1975. As a work of art, the novel stands testimony to the multifaceted personality of its author. The novel is based on the Keezhavenmani carnage of 1967 in which 42 Harijans were burnt to death in landlord-peasant clash. To the agrarian problem, tinged with untouchablity, Indira Parthasarthy gives a psychological dimension, which is the unique aspects of the book. Parthasarthy has beautiful highlighted the degradation in the field of politics and the corruption having assumed the way of life.

यह लक्ष्मी शर्मा का दूसरा उपन्यास है, उनका पहला उपन्यास भी बहुत चर्चित रहा था। अमीरी और ग़रीबी के बीच की खाई, मानव मन के गहरे में पैठे हुए लालच और उन सब के बीच कहीं-कहीं बची हुई संवदेनशीलता को यह उपन्यास बहुत ख़ूबसूरती के साथ रेखांकित करता है। यह कहानी केवल छिगन की कहानी नहीं है, बल्कि छिगन के बहाने यह उस करुणा को तलाश करने की कहानी है, जो करुणा भारत की आत्मा में बसती है।

ನಾಟಕಕಾರರೂ, ಬರಹಗಾರರೂ ಆದ ಎಸ್. ಸುರೇಂದ್ರನಾಥ್ ಅವರ ಕಾದಂಬರಿ ’ಎನ್ನ ಭವದ ಕೇಡು’. ಓದುಗರ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲೇ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಸಾಗುವ ಕಾದಂಬರಿಯ ಪಾತ್ರ, ಊರಿನ ಚಿತ್ರಣ, ಜನ, ಅವರ ತಲ್ಲಣಗಳು, ಆತಂಕಗಳು, ಹೀಗೆ ಅನೇಕ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳು ಓದುಗರ ಅನುಭವದ ಭಾಗವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಕಾದಂಬರಿ ಸಾಗುತ್ತಾ ಓದುಗರ ನಡುವಿನ ಚರಿತ್ರೆಯಾದಂತೆ ಮನದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇರೂರಿ ನಿಲ್ಲುತ್ತದೆ. ಎನ್ನ ಭವದ ಕೇಡು ಕಾದಂಬರಿಯ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಪಾತ್ರಧಾರಿ ಮಾಮಿಯ ಬದುಕಿನ ಅನಾವರಣ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರ ವಹಿಸಿದೆ. ಪಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿನ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ವ, ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಬದುಕಿನೊಳಗೆ ಮುಖಾಮುಖಿಗೊಳ್ಳುವ ಅನೇಕ ಸಹಜ ಬದುಕಿನ ಗೊಂದಲ, ವಿಸ್ಮಯ, ತಲ್ಲಣಗಳನ್ನು ಈ ಕಾದಂಬರಿ ತೆರೆದಿಡುತ್ತದೆ.

खानाबदोश नटों के जीवन, संस्कृति, उनकी यायावरी और भावनात्मक पक्ष पर केन्द्रित शिवप्रसाद सिंह के अत्यन्त चर्चित उपन्यासों में से एक है। इस उपन्यास में जरायमपेशा और हमेशा चलते रहने वाले नटों की जिन्दगी के आँखों देखे विवरणों के साथ उन्होंने अपने शोध व अनुसन्धान से प्राप्त तथ्यों को भी शामिल किया है। एक कबीलाई जीवन-शैली की यह कथा हमारी कई नैतिक धारणाओं और सामाजिक पूर्वग्रहों को भी तोड़ती है, और हमें एक अलग ढंग के जीवन से परिचित कराती है। नट समाज के जीवन में आने वाले बाहरी दबावों और उनके अपने दायरे के विभिन्न पहलुओं को समेटते हुए इस उपन्यास में भाषा का प्रयोग भी उपन्यासकार ने अत्यन्त सामर्थ्य के साथ किया है और शिक्षित समाज की दृष्टि को एक ओर रखकर नटों के जीवन की एक प्रामाणिक कथा रची है।

Uchalya, literally meaning 'pilferer', is an autobiographical account of the life of a stereotyped underdog but of a representative of a section of society thriving on petty crimes. It is a poignant satire on social inequiality and a candid account of the author's life brought up in the Uchalya community. His treatment of the Dalit theme, in which his own delicsate subjectivity is a part, is widely acclaimed for the masterful sensitivity. He depicts in all their subtlety and pougnancy the inner feeling, suffering and empotional complexities of a tribe historically viewed as criminals. The novel has the freshness of rugged sincerity written in a style untamed by sophistication and therefore has become unquestionably valueable as a socially significant document besides being a powerful literary work.
