- Description: भारत के प्रथम सी.डी.एस. जनरल बिपिन रावत अदम्य इच्छाशक्ति और अपूर्व दूरदृष्टि-संपन्न महायोद्धा थे । अपने सैन्य जीवन में उन्होंने प्रखत्ता और तेजस्विता के साथ नेतृत्व किया। उन्हें मालूम था कि वे जिस मिशन पर आगे बढ़ रहे हैं, वह देशहित के लिए है, दूरदर्शी व दूरगामी है; भारतीय सेना के भविष्य की बेहतरी के लिए है। भले ही यह उनके लिए काँटों भरा ताज रहा हो, पर वे कभी नहीं डिगे। उन्होंने सेनाओं में जितने भी सुधार लागू किए, उन्हें पहले खुद पर भी लागू किया। सेनाओं में नैतिक मूल्यों और भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ उन्होंने 'जीरो टॉलरेंस' की नीति अपनाई। वे सेनाओं में 'मेक इन इंडिया' के सबसे बड़े पुरोधा थे। उन्होंने डी.आर. डी.ओ. और सेनाओं के भीतर अंतर्विरोध के बावजूद देश में हथियार और सैन्य साजो-सामान बनाने पर पूरा जोर दिया। जनरल बिपिन रावत का विराट व्यक्तित्व, दृढ़ चरित्र और बेहतरीन कार्य कौशल, अतिसामान्य सरल व्यवहार, सबकुछ इतना स्वाभाविक और गैर-बनावटीपन वाला तथा प्रभावोत्पादक था कि जो उनसे एक बार भी मिलता, सहज ही प्रभावित हो जाता। उनकी सैन्य रणनीतियाँ, कार्य-तत्परता, अध्ययन, विश्लेषण, बेखौफ, बेलौस, बेबाक बयानगी, उनकी कर्मशीलता, उनकी मानवीय न्यायप्रियता तथा भ्रष्टाचार के प्रति जीरो टॉलरेंस किसी भी निष्पक्ष और निरपेक्ष को उनके पक्ष में कर देता था। भारतीयों के गौरवपुरुष जनरल बिपिन रावत के पराक्रमी और प्रेरक जीवन की यशोगाथा है यह कृति।

- Description: यह सच है कि आज के युवा अपनी भाषा-संस्कृति के बारे मेंगहरी समझ नहीं रखते हैं। दुनिया की चकाचौंध में वे खोते जा रहे हैं। अपने पर्व-त्योहार और अपनी भाषा के बारे में वे अधिक जानते नहीं हैं। इस पुस्तक में कई ऐसे लेख हैं, जो झारखंड की भाषा-संस्कृति से जुड़े हैं। इसमें सोहराय, सरहुल और अन्य त्योहारों की महत्ता बताने का प्रयास किया गया है। प्रभाकर तिर्की ने एक लेख और आँकड़ों के माध्यम से यह बताना चाहा है कि कैसे झारखंड में आदिवासी कम होते जा रहे हैं। महादेव टोप्पो ने आदिवासी साहित्य, दशा और दिशा के जरिए आदिवासी भाषाओं को समृद्ध करने का रास्ता बताया है। एक दुर्लभ लेख ‘आदिवासियत और मैं’ है, जिसे मरांग गोमके जयपाल सिंह ने लिखा है। इसके अलावा पुष्पा टेटे, रोज केरकट्टा, हरिराम मीणा, जेवियर डायस, पी.एन.एस. सुरीन आदि के लेख हैं, जिनमें दुर्लभ जानकारियाँ हैं, जो आसानी से उपलब्ध नहीं होतीं। ऐसे लेखों को संकलित कर पुस्तक का आकार देने के पीछे एक बड़ा कारण यह है कि ये लेख आगाह करनेवाले हैं, हमें जगानेवाले हैं। ये महत्त्वपूर्ण लेख हैं, जिनका उपयोग शोधछात्र कर सकते हैं, नीतियाँ बनाने में सरकार कर सकती है। सबसे महत्त्वपूर्ण बात यह है कि ये युवाओं को अपनी भाषा-संस्कृति को समृद्ध बनाने के लिए प्रेरित कर सकते हैं।

- Description: भारतीय कथाकारों में कमलेश्वर की लोकप्रियता का कोई जवाब नहीं। न तो उनसे पहले, न ही उनके बाद वैसी लोकप्रियता किसी और को हासिल हो सकी। उन्होंने आरंभ में ही ‘दूरदर्शन’ में लोकप्रिय कार्यक्रम ‘परिक्रमा’ शुरू किया। बाद में ‘दूरदर्शन’ के महानिदेशक भी बने। आँधी, मौसम, डाक बँगला, द बर्निंग ट्रेन, राम-बलराम जैसी सौ के करीब फिल्में और चंद्रकांता संतति जैसे तमाम सीरियल लिखनेवाले कमलेश्वर ने ‘सारिका’, ‘कथायात्रा’, ‘गंगा’ और ‘श्रीवर्षा’ जैसी पत्रिकाओं का संपादन किया। जीवन के आखिरी समय तक अखबारों में कॉलम लिखनेवाले कमलेश्वर की कलम उनके हाथ से कभी छूटी नहीं। कमलेश्वर की पहली कहानी ‘फरार’ सन् 1946 में कानपुर से प्रकाशित होने वाले साप्ताहिक ‘जय भारत’ में छपी थी, जबकि ‘कॉमरेड भारती’ सन् 1948 में छपी, जिसे उनकी पहली कहानी मान लिया गया था। उन्होंने ढेर सारी कहानियाँ लिखीं, जिनमें से उनकी कुछ लोकप्रिय कहानियाँ इस संग्रह में प्रस्तुत हैं। कहानियाँ अलग-अलग आस्वाद लिये हुए हैं। आशा है सुधी पाठकों को ये कहानियाँ रुचेंगी और अपनी सी लगेंगी।
