A software engineer by qualification, Neha Arora is a storyteller at heart. After working as an engineer and business analyst in corporate for four years, the writer was associated with a voluntary organisation named 'Teach for India' for two years, which works to provide equal education to all children. In 2014, she took up a new assignment and started fulfilling her responsibilities as a 'mother'. She worked with different voluntary organisations to provide quality education to the children. From the time she was 6 years old, she was fond of writing stories, but when her son turned 5, she was re-introduced to stories. In order to save her son from getting used to phone or TV during the Corona period, she started narrating the stories she weaved for him; after which she started recording those stories for her friends' children, which then took the form of a podcast and reached the children far and wide. She has special attachment to Hindi and wants to take Hindi language literature, especially children's literature further. By promoting the habit of reading stories among children, these steps are on the way to rekindle their interest in Hindi language. Apart from this, she has a diploma in yoga and practices yoga and meditation daily. Her first two books are a collection of short stories for kids aged ~3 - 8 and were selected by National Book Trust for Children's Pavillion in World Book Fair, Delhi 2023. Her third book, "Golden Five ke karnaame", is an adventure series for kids ~8 - 14, but is fun for readers of all ages. New hindi literature for this age group is essentially missing and writer is trying to fill this gap.
