प्रसिद्ध फ़िल्मों व निर्देशकों के अलावा उन निर्देशकों व फ़िल्मों के बारे में पढ़ना एक धनात्मक अनुभव होगा, जिनका नाम इक्कीसवीं सदी के इस दूसरे दशक तक कम आ पाया। हिन्दी किताबों से जुड़ी नई पीढ़ी, जो विश्व सिनेमा में दिलचस्पी रखती है, के लिए इस किताब का दस्तावेज़ी महत्त्व भी है।
