गाथा बनी और बनती रही है। हमें इस रूप में भी इस पुस्तक को देखना चाहिए कि इसी कथा में राम के साथ
युद्ध में शामिल वे ही लोग थे, जो वानर, भालू, गिद्ध आदि जनजातियों के रूप में हाशिए की दुनिया के थे,
और जिनके बल पर जीत हासिल करते हैं राम। यह पुस्तक एक पुस्तक ही नहीं, जनजातियों की तरफ़ से एक
हस्तक्षेप भी है।
