‘एक और नीमसार : संगतिन आत्ममन्थन और आन्दोलन’ उत्तर प्रदेश के सीतापुर ज़िले में सक्रिय पाँच हज़ार दलित और ग़रीब महिलाओं, मज़दूरों और किसानों के संगठन—‘संगतिन किसान मज़दूर संगठन’ के जीवन्त आन्दोलन का दस्तावेज़ है। संगठनात्मक सफ़र के कड़वे-मीठे सचों से भरी इस किताब में संगतिन के तमाम साथियों का कथन और आत्ममन्थन तो है ही, साथ में उनके रोज़मर्रा के संघर्षों की कहानियाँ और उनके सपनों की कविता भी है।
मुल्कों की सरहदों और रात-दिन के फ़ासलों को मिटाकर ऋचा नागर और ऋचा सिंह की संयुक्त लेखनी ने 2004 से 2011 तक के इस सफ़रनामे को कुछ इस तरह पेश किया है कि इसमें डायरी और नाटक, शोध और उपन्यास, कविता और सामाजिक विश्लेषण के रस आपस में घुल-मिलकर पाठक को बाँध लेते हैं।
इस पुस्तक में जहाँ एक ओर हाशिये पर जी रहे लोगों का एक ऐतिहासिक आन्दोलन बनता हुआ दीखता है, वहीं उन्हीं साथियों के बीच मौजूद भावनात्मक और वैचारिक दीवारों और खाइयों को लेकर हो रही जद्दोजहद भी दीखती है। इसी तरह जहाँ एक ओर सरकारी नीतियों और रोज़-दर-रोज़ के मुद्दों को लेकर गाँवों में चलनेवाले सत्ता, वर्ग, जाति और लिंग के संघर्ष उजागर होते हैं, वहीं गाँवों और ज़िले की हदों के भीतर हो रही घटनाओं का राष्ट्रीय और वैश्विक स्तर पर चल रही प्रक्रियाओं से गहरा रिश्ता और सरोकार भी दीखता है।

The objective of writing this book is to rouse the conscience of the country, giving it a glimpse of the hell which the prosperous and proud people of North-West Pakistan had to suffer in those critical days and to appeal to the leaders to learn from their past mistakes and take determined and suitable measures in hand to undo the evil effects of the greatest ‘wrong’ of history.

- Description: Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar is considered the Messiah of the Dalits in India. In 1947, the Constituent Assembly appointed him as the chairman of the Drafting Committee constituted for drafting the Constitution for independent India. He played a key role in building the Constitution. He was born on 14 April 1891 at Mhow (near Indore), a small town of present Madhya Pradesh. He was the fourteenth child of Subedar Ramji and Bhimabai Sakpal. Being from the Maharcaste, he was treated as an ‘untouchable’. His father and his grandfather had served in the British Army. Good schools were arranged by the then government for the education of the children of all military personnel. Therefore, despite being from a low caste, he got a good education. In 1937, Dr Ambedkar introduced a bill to end the ‘Khoti’ practice of Mahars working as official slaves in the Konkan region. When India became independent in 1947, he adorned the post of the Minister of Law. He had made a clarion call—‘Lost rights are never regained by begging... but by relentless struggle’. For his remarkable work, he was posthumously awarded India’s highest civilian award ‘Bharat Ratna’ in the year 1990.

- Description: ‘लौह पुरुष’ के नाम से विख्यात सरदार पटेल को भारत के गृह मंत्री के रूप में अपने कार्यकाल के दौरान कश्मीर के संवेदनशील मामले को सुलझाने में कई गंभीर मुश्किलों का सामना करना पड़ा था। उनका मानना था कि कश्मीर मामले को संयुक्त राष्ट्र में नहीं ले जाना चाहिए था। वास्तव में संयुक्त राष्ट्र में ले जाने से पहले ही इस मामले को भारत के हित में सुलझाया जा सकता था। हैदराबाद रियासत के संबंध में सरदार पटले समझौते के लिए भी तैयार नहीं थे। बाद में लॉर्ड माउंटबेटन के आग्रह पर ही वह 20 नवंबर, 1947 को निजाम द्वारा बाह्य मामले तथा रक्षा एवं संचार मामले भारत सरकार को सौंपे जाने की बात पर सहमत हुए। हैदराबाद के भारत में विलय के प्रस्ताव को निजाम द्वारा अस्वीकार कर दिए जाने पर अंततः वहाँ सैनिक अभियान का नेतृत्व करने के लिए सरदार पटेल ने जनरल जे.एन. चौधरी को नियुक्त करते हुए शीघ्रातिशीघ्र काररवाई पूरी करने का निर्देश दिया। अंततः 13 सितंबर, 1948 को भारतीय सैनिक हैदराबाद पहुँच गए और सप्ताह भर में ही हैदराबाद का भारत में विधिवत् विलय कर लिया गया। प्रस्तुत पुस्तक में कश्मीर और हैदराबाद के भारत में विलय की राह में आई कठिनाइयों और उन्हें दूर करने में सरदार पटेल की अदम्य इच्छाशक्ति पर प्रामाणिक ढंग से प्रकाश डाला गया है।
