- Description: हिंदी एक समर्थ भाषा है। उसका साहित्य भी संपन्न है, अब तो वह और भी संपन्न होता जा रहा है, किंतु अभी तक हिंदी भाषा का मानक रूप स्थिर नहीं हो पाया है। यही कारण है कि उच्चारण, वर्तनी, लेखन, रूपरचना, वाक्यगठन और अर्थ आदि सभी क्षेत्रों में पत्र-पत्रिकाओं, पुस्तकों, भाषणों एवं बातचीत में अमानक प्रयोग प्राय: मिलते हैं। इसी समस्या पर व्यापक रूप से विचार करने के उद्देश्य से यह पुस्तक लिखी गई है। प्रारंभ में मानक भाषा और उसके प्रकारों को लिया गया है, ताकि मानक हिंदी को ठीक परिप्रेक्ष्य में समझा जा सके। किसी भाषा की मानकता-अमानकता काफी कुछ उसकी बेलियों से जुड़ी होती है, अत: हिंदी के क्षेत्र और उसकी बोलियों को लेना पड़ा है। फिर हिंदी के मानकीकरण का इतिहास देते हुए हिंदी में नागरी लिपि और अंकों, हिंदी के संख्यावाचक शब्दों, हिंदी उच्चारण, हिंदी संज्ञा, सर्वनाम, विशेषण, क्रिया तथा क्रिया विशेषण के रूपों, हिंदी वाक्य-रचना, हिंदी में प्रयुक्त शब्दों और उनके अर्थ, हिंदी की प्रयुक्तियों तथा शैलियों आदि पर मानकता की दृष्टि से विचार किया गया है। अंत में परिशिष्ट में मानक-अमानक प्रयोगों के कुछ उदाहरण हैं। इस प्रकार प्रस्तुत पुस्तक में हिंदी भाषा के मानक स्वरूप पर अपेक्षित विस्तार से प्रकाश डाला गया है। यह पुस्तक हिंदी भाषा और भाषा-विज्ञान में रुचि रखनेवाले लेखकों, संपादकों, पाठकों और विद्यार्थियों आदि सभी वर्ग के लोगों के लिए पठनीय एवं संग्रहणीय है।

- Description: ‘कमल कीचड़ में ही खिलते हैं,’ यह उक्ति पं. दीनदयाल उपाध्याय पर ठीक बैठती है। निर्धनता में जन्म लेकर राष्ट्र-चिंतक के शीर्ष पद पर सुशोभित होकर उन्होंने यह सिद्ध कर दिया। बाल्यकाल से ही दीनदयालजी कुशाग्र बुद्धि और अध्ययनशील प्रवृत्ति के रहे। दीनदयालजी जैसी कुशाग्रता, बौद्धिकता, कर्मठता, सहृदयता और अनुशासनप्रियता का बेजोड़ समुच्चय किसी में नहीं था। इसके चलते वे सभी के प्रिय प्रचारक बन चुके थे। इन्हीं विशेषताओं को देखकर एक बार परम पूजनीय श्रीगुरुजी ने उनकी सराहना करते हुए कहा था, ‘‘दिल को गरम तथा दिमाग को ठंडा रखने की कला केवल दीनदयाल को ही ज्ञात है। वे इसमें पूर्णतः निपुण हैं। दिल की गरमी ऊपर चढ़कर उनके दिमाग का संतुलन नहीं बिगाड़ सकती तथा दिमाग की ठंडक में नीचे आकर उनके दिल की गरमी को ठंडा करने की सामर्थ्य नहीं है।’’ दीनदयालजी जिस क्षेत्र में गए, वहाँ समर्पण भाव से कार्य किया और अभूतपूर्व सफलता पाई। पत्रकारिता में उन्होंने ज्वलंत लेख लिखकर ख्याति प्राप्त की। चिंतक, मनीषी, कुशल राजनीतिज्ञ, अद्वितीय संगठनकर्ता एवं राष्ट्रचेता पं. दीनदयालजी की संपूर्ण जीवन-कथा, जो हर चिंतनशील भारतीय के मन-मस्तिष्क को राष्ट्रवाद के भाव से ओत-प्रोत कर देगी।
