- Description: When our army was winning, what was the need for a ceasefire? What was the need to halt the attack? Had it not been done at that time, the whole of Kashmir would have been an integral part of India today. Pakistan-occupied Kashmir would not have come into existence. Regrettably, it was never brought into the discussion as to why an untimely ceasefire was declared? What was the compulsion? In no history has it been written that the war-winning army declares a ceasefire at a time when a large part of its territory is occupied by foreign forces! Then the United Nations was approached on 1st January, 1948. This decision was also a personal decision of Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. It was a big mistake; the country bore the brunt of it for years. —Amit Shah Union Home Minister We saw that the Leftist, elite society, the power system, the media had already established their narrative over the last several decades. These widely propagated narratives were the so-called truth. It was about our society, nationality, Ramjanmabhoomi, the inalienability and inevitability of Article 370 in Kashmir, social harmony, the role model of the country, the Western model of development, the imperative of English, etc. These were in relation to the beliefs and faith in so-called values which developed an inferiority complex about our history and past at the cost of our history and glorious knowledge tradition. —Anil Joshi Vice Chairman, Kendriya Hindi Shikshan Manda

- Description: The Current condition of each citizen, the society, and the nation are the result of a deeply complex history. But what we know from history books, especially academic textbooks, are constructs based on the narratives of political powers, colonists, and outdated socioeconomic analysts. The time has come to know and understand our true history from fresh and updated perspectives. The subject of this book is how foreign ideologies and forces Christian, Islamic, and later colonists, western and Marxists' profound and long-term influence have impacted India, her society, and people. With a computer science back- ground, Kanchan Banerjee makes this remarkable and significant contribution, attempting to depict the current era with unique and lively storytelling using carefully studied evidence, logical deduction, and analysis. He has given detailed and comprehensive descriptions and assessments from pre-Islamic Arabia's history, foreign attacks and invasions of the Huns, the Turks to the Islamic rule and occupation in Delhi, and the British colonial and imperial atrocities. How did the crash and fall of a great ancient civilization happen? How has it been wounded the body and soul of a nation to break into several pieces? And what is the way to change the direction to the path of recovery and revival? This book is an effort to find the answers to these questions from our true history. If we know our past, we can change our future as well.

Taran Sikka
The book is a collection of timeless stories of Munshi Premchand, the renowned Hindi author who was ahead of his time. Premchand short stories have never been tough to understand. For even those with most basic Hindi knowledge would be able to make out the clear inferences. His writing covers the problems of common people, their aspirations, confusions, family disintegration, dowry-practice, child marriage, treason, bribery, superstition, rural exploitation, economic disparity etc. His stories deal more with the solutions than problems. Even though these characters suffer from economic pressures, they try to overcome problems through struggle. In his stories, he has not only depicted the harsh reality, but has depicted the reality in the best possible way, because the harsh reality is often hard to fathom. The characters are sometimes elated and sometimes devastated. This is called literary justice which is one of the top qualities of Shri Munshi Premchand. Short stories by Premchand stay contextual, even now, and will remain so for a long time.
