About Author शेंताल वैन मियलो का जन्म और पालन-पोषण नीदरलैंड के बॉक्सटेल में हुआ। इंटरनेशनल बिजनेस की पढ़ाई पूरी करने के बाद वह जर्मनी चली आयीं और अब अपने परिवार के साथ जर्मनी के दक्षिण में एक छोटे से गाँव में रहती हैं। इस उपन्यास का प्रकाशन मूलतः डच भाषा में स्टोरीटेल पर हुआ। जब 2017 में स्टोरीटेल पर इसका पहला एपिसोड आया तो यह उस सीजन का सबसे ज्यादा सुना जाने वाला उपन्यास था। बाद में इसका प्रकाशन और भाषाओं में हुआ।
