Mangesh Vitthal Rajadhyaksha was a writer and critic from Maharashtra who studied at Elphinstone College in Mumbai. He was awarded the coveted Wordsworth Prize for being the top student in English literature. Rajadhyaksha went on to teach English literature at Elphinstone College, Gujarat College, and Rajaram College.
