Dr. Manish Ranjan is an I.A.S. Officer of 2002 batch and currently working with the Government of Jharkhand. He has served as Deputy Commissioner cum District Magistrate in various districts of Jharkhand successfully. He completed Ph.D. in Management Studies after an MBA from I.R.M.A., Gujarat.
Having an illustrious academic and professional career, he has received Director’s Gold Medal for securing first position in order of merit of IAS. Also remarkable are the Prime Minister’s Award for ‘Excellence in MGNREGA’ for two consecutive years, the ‘Nirmal Gram Puraskar’ by the President of India, ‘STAR RAFT’ award by AFID (Asian Federation of Intellectual Disabilities), Japan.
He has written some bestseller books including books on Communication Skills, Decision Making & Problem Solving and also on Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT).
Dr. Ranjan has been an ardent admirer of Dr. Kalam and met him on several occasions. Being a quiz enthusiast and having won many quiz competitions at state and national level, he has presented the important aspects of Dr. Kalam’s life in quizzical form.
