Beatrice Alemagna is an illustrator, painter, and writer of children's books. She has created about thirty books that have been published and warmly received all around the world. She has many accolades to her name including the Premio Andersen Award, a Bologna Ragazzi Mention, five White Ravens Awards and three Baobab Prizes for the most innovative books for children.
