About Vangoori Chitten Raju
Wrote more than 25 plays. Houston was one of the founders of Telugu Sanghas in America along with the Telugu Cultural Society. In 1994, Vanguri Foundation of America established the Ugadi best writing competitions, bi-annual 'America Telugu Literary Conferences', 'World Telugu Literary Conferences' in 5 continents, 'Nela Nela Telugu Vennela' etc. Published 102 Telugu books. Worked as an editor for some magazines.
