"Qamar Rahman is a renowned Indian environmental toxicologist with over four decades of research in occupational and environmental health. Internationally recognized for her pioneering work on nanoparticles, asbestosis, slate dust, and particulate pollution, she has served as an external advisor to the European Union on nanomaterial safety and to the World Health Organization on asbestos related diseases. She currently serves as the Dean of Research Science and echnology at Amity University Lucknow Campus."
