Dr O.P. Gupta served as Professor of Zoology and HOD at a reputed institution—Dr H.S. Gour University, Sagar, M.P. (1969-2007). He was also a Coordinator at the Remedial Coaching Centre (1999-2007) and the HOD/Coordinator of the Biotechnology Department (2005) at the same institution. An awardee of a prestigious international fellowship from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Technical University, Karlsruhe, Germany (1979-1981). He worked in the Cell Physiology Lab at the University of Nice, France (1982) as a recipient of a French Government Scholarship. He also visited and worked at the famous Brain Research Institute of Europe—Institute of Experimental Medicine, Budapest (2001-2002) under the auspices of UGC. Published a number of scientific research papers in national and international journals of repute. Subject expert in NAAC, Bengaluru, CSTT, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, as well as connected with UGC. He has a keen interest in meditation and spirituality.
