Medha Deshmukh Bhaskaran authored the bestseller Challenging Destiny (2016), nominated at the 2017 Raymond Crossword Book Awards, and translated into Marathi and Hindi. It is now a ‘National Bestseller’. Her 2018 book Prescription of Life, drawn from her experiences, explores pharmaceuticals. Her two historical fiction books, Frontiers (2018) and Life and Death of Sambhaji (2021), published by Penguin Random House, have been translated into Marathi and Hindi, respectively. Both Challenging Destiny and Life and Death of Sambhaji are available as audiobooks. Challenging Destiny for Young Readers will launch Feb 2025; the Kannada version is due later in 2025. Her recent social issues book, Up Against Darkness, received the 2024 FICCI award and is translated into Marathi. She is a microbiologist with marketing experience in Germany, India, and UAE, and has written poetry and articles for Indian Express, Khaleej Times, and Gulf News.
