Mrinalinigaru, who retired as a professor at the study center, is currently the chairperson of the Telugu Department at Siliconandhra University, Milpitas, California. Well-known as a critic, translator, storyteller and academician in Telugu literature. Authored 24 books so far, R.K. Narayan has published 12 books in translation, including stories by Malgudi. More than a thousand programs have been organized on television and YouTube channels.
