प्रज्ञा मिश्रा बालकथा लेखन में अब एक प्रतिष्ठित नाम है। उनका पहला कहानी संग्रह-फुहार-लोक भारती प्रकाशन से प्रकाशित होकर चर्चित हो चुका है। उनकी दूसरी किताब, बोलते-बुलबुले पाँच भागों में बाल कहानियों का महत्त्वाकांक्षी प्रोज़ेक्ट है। आबरा का डाबरा एवं अन्य कहानियाँ बोलते बुलबुले सीरीज़ की चौथी किताब है। प्रज्ञा मिश्रा यों तो वह वाणिज्य की छात्रा रही हैं लेकिन उनकी रुचि अध्यात्म में ज्यादा है। उनके जीवन पर परम् पूज्य श्री माताजी निर्मला देवी द्वारा प्रतिपादित सहज योग ध्यान का गहरा प्रभाव रहा है। सन् 2017 में BRICS-IF और श्री योगी महाजन से जुड़ने के बाद उन्होंने जन सरोकारों पर सोचना शुरू किया।

बारह साल की सरोजिनी का पक्का दोस्त आमिर अब उसका पक्का दोस्त नहीं रहा. जब से वह उसकी बस्ती से बाहर रहने गया और मँहगे निजी स्कूल में पढ़ने जाने लगा तब से उसके और सरोजिनी के बीच कुछ भी तो एक-सा नहीं रह गया. तभी सरोजिनी को ‘शिक्षा का अधिकार’ क़ानून के बारे में पता चला, जिसकी मदद से उसे आमिर के स्कूल में निःशुक्ल प्रवेश मिल सकता है- या यह भी हो सकता है कि वह अपने सरकारी स्कूल में इस तरह के सुधार ला सके कि आमिर को ही वापस अपने स्कूल में बुला ले, जहाँ वे साथ-साथ पढ़ने जाते थे. अपने पक्के दोस्त से दोस्ती बचाने की इस कोशिश में सरोजिनी को कुछ ऐसे लोगों से मदद मिलती है, जिनके बारे में उसने कभी सोचा भी नहीं था

साहित्य में मंज़रनामा एक मुकम्मिल फ़ॉर्म है। यह एक ऐसी विधा है जिसे पाठक बिना किसी रुकावट के रचना का मूल आस्वाद लेते हुए पढ़ सकें। लेकिन मंज़रनामा का अन्दाज़े-बयान अमूमन मूल रचना से अलग हो जाता है या यूँ कहें कि वह मूल रचना का इन्टरप्रेटेशन हो जाता है। मंज़रनामा पेश करने का एक उद्देश्य तो यह है कि पाठक इस फ़ॉर्म से रू-ब-रू हो सकें और दूसरा यह कि टी.वी. और सिनेमा में दिलचस्पी रखनेवाले लोग यह देख-जान सकें कि किसी कृति को किस तरह मंज़रनामे की शक्ल दी जाती है। टी.वी. की आमद से मंज़रनामों की ज़रूरत में बहुत इज़ाफ़ा हो गया है। यह बाल मनोविज्ञान पर आधारित ‘परिचय’ फ़िल्म का मंज़रनामा है। पाँच बच्चों और उनके दादा (बाबा) के मध्य चल रहे मौन संघर्ष का इस फ़िल्म में प्रभावशाली मनोविश्लेषण किया गया है। बाल मन को कठोर अनुशासन में रखने पर प्रत्येक क्रिया के विरुद्ध प्रतिक्रिया हो सकती है जिसका दूरगामी प्रभाव ख़तरनाक भी हो सकता है। बाल स्वभाव के अन्तर्गत उनके द्वारा किए गए क्रिया-कलाप पाठक के मन में एक गुदगुदी भी पैदा करते हैं और सोचने पर बाध्य भी करते हैं कि बच्चों की कोमल भावनाओं पर अनुशासन की दृष्टि से कितनी कठोरता दिखाई जाए। यह मंज़रनामा बच्चों के माध्यम से बड़ों को भी सबक़ सिखाता है और एक दिशा भी देता है कि उन दोनों के बीच किस तरह का रिश्ता हो।
