Age group 6-8 years

The gentle unfolding softens realities of a childhood quite far removed from today’s readers. Springing from yet another animation film by Nina Sabnani, it is her mother’s own story, and she continues that connection with the choice of visuals – fragments of cloth, touches of embroidery, that tell of a life across two countries, with two fathers, in two homes.

Age group 6-8 years

Neha Singh's story shows how beautiful the world can be if we ask QUESTIONS! In our adult-centric world, the story shifts our gaze to a child. A girl asks for something basic and essential for the sustenance of the human body- A toilet, so she could relieve herself. Unquestioning and compliant adults, as one turns into after years of disengagement, have woven their routines around the unavailability of the toilets. The book manifests childhood in its essence. Meenal Singh and Erik Egerup have brought this questioning, courageous girl to life in the pages of the book. Age group 6-8 years

Let’s protect and save our tiger friends! “The combination of impressive lines from the author and life-like paintings of grandeur from David Stribbling creates a magical land of tigers in the minds of the readers.” — Indian Moms Connect “In a very subtle way, [Ruskin] Bond weaves magic into the simple words of this little poem.” — BookedforLife

Nahid Kazemi...thank you for making such a delightful book. The story is beautiful, but we were engrossed in its illustrations. Some old things never get old, just like this Narangi Ghar. A poet once said that the world is created every day. However, it does not get old every day. Narangi Ghar story is for everyone...whoever reads it- children or adults...just like looking at the river....children see it from their perspective, as do adults. Age group 9-12 years
