About Vidyanand Jha
He was born on the Buddha Purnima ( May 15), 1965 in the Kaithinia village in the then Darbhanga ( now Madhubani) district of Bihar. He lived for the first 21 years of my life in Bihar, then 11 years in Gujarat and finally since last almost 3 years in Joka. He lives with his wife Namita, daughter Ira and mother Smt. Chitrarrekha Jha at NF 3/3 in the IIM Campus at Joka. He is a teacher, researcher and author ( not necessarily in that order) in the Organisation Behaviour. He is an Assistant Professor in the Behavioural Sciences Group. He has another competing side to his persona. He is a poet and fiction writer in Maithili, an East Indian Language. His poems have been translated into Hindi, English, Bangla and Telugu. I also translate from and to Maithili in other Indian languages including English.
