Prashant Pole has done B.E. Hons. (Electronics & Telecom) and M.A. in Marathi. Presently, he is Director of Disha Consultants and Web Bharati at Nagpur. He has professional experience of more than 34 years, has travelled to more than 35 countries. He was head of the research department in Meltron (Maharashtra Electronics Development Corporation). He developed special equipment for firing missiles at Interim Test Range at Balasore (1990). He was member of the IT Task Force of Maharashtra government in 1998-99. He was Member of IT Task Force for Ministry of Surface Transport and Shipping, GoI. Currently, he is working as a consultant for many multinational Telecom, IT companies and Banks. He is a Member of Board of Governance, IIIT, Jabalpur and IT Expert for Bombay University.
