Sameera works as a social development sector professional with more than a decade of experience in education, computational thinking, career and gender. She also has a deep interest in art and culture having diverse experiences participating in film/cultural festivals, filmmaking, film criticism, theatre, choirs and more. Her keen interest in preserving Telugu literature led her to participate in Chaaya Publication’s first-of-its-kind six-month translation workshop led by the famous French translator Ros Schwartz in 2024. Over the years, she has translated several short stories from the Telugu to English. Amma Diary lo Konni Pageelu is the first novel she has translated.
