English Postgraduate. Originally from Kochi, Kerala. Currently based in Mangalore. His first publication was a short story 'Prathivai Nama.'. His other works include a collection of short stories, 'Antar Yamami' (1986) and an edited book, 'Konkani Chalaval Ani Madhava Manjunatha Shanabhaag' (2015). He has translated two novels by M.T.V. Nair into Konkani. He has received the 'Creative Work Award' (1994) and the Translation Award (2002) from the Central Sahitya Akademi. He has been awarded several other awards.
