Zamaan Sher Khan, or Puttan Khan, was born on 4 January 1952 in the town of Bisauli in Badaun district and is best known as Fahmi Badayuni. Necessity brought him to the job of an accountant at a young age. When fate turned him away from the job, his interest in Maths and Science opened the doors of coaching classes. He was interested in Shayari and its criticism from a very young age. Around 1980, he started publishing his poetry in some magazines. Till then, two of his poetry collections, “Panchvi Samt” and “Dastaken Nigahon Ki” had been published.
