### About Dr. Rahat Abrar **Dr. Rahat Abrar** is a historian, Urdu writer, researcher, and scholar associated closely with Aligarh Muslim University. He has served as Director of the Urdu Academy at AMU and has written extensively on the Aligarh Movement, Sir Syed Ahmad Khan, Muslim education, and the history and heritage of Aligarh. His published works include *Sir Syed Ahmad Khan Aur Unke Muasireen*, *Sir Syed Ahmad Khan Aur 1857*, *Jahan-e-Syed*, and other research-oriented works. He has also contributed to major publications on the history of AMU. His research is particularly noted for its engagement with historical documents and archival evidence concerning the origins and institutional development of Aligarh Muslim University.
