Dr. (Col) Harikrishnan is a laparoscopic surgeon and endoscopist by profession, with a passion for writing—be it professional articles, travelogues, book reviews, music reviews, or stories. He is a self-styled musicologist with a vast personal collection of music and music-related books. This is his first full-length book, based on personal experiences as a young soldier. He lives with his wife in Bangalore and spends summers in London, where his son and daughter have settled. He is currently working on a book about his pet dog, Rufus.
