"Ismad's Eid" is a Turkish tale written by Fawzia Gilani Williams in English and translated in Tamil by Rangasri Srinivas. Ismad is a shoemakerπ’ and he was preparing for the celebration of Eid. He went to a shop and purchased gifts for his wife, mother and daughter. Then he purchased a trouserπ for him, which is few inches longer than his trouser size. This story is simple and interesting to read and perfectly suitable for the children. The illustrations are beautiful. There is a twist in this story on the day of Eid and it's funny to see Ismad wearing a short trouser. Overall this story is enjoyable and children would definitely love to read this bookπ
