Subuhi Jiwani has worked as a journalist, editor, researcher and documentary filmmaker for the print, television and digital media in India. She has covered a diverse range of topics, including climate change, agriculture, migration, gender-based violence, sexualities, culture and the arts. Her writing has appeared in publications such as TimeOut Mumbai, Daily News and Analysis, ART India, Mayday and Scroll. Her multimedia journalism and documentaries have been featured online on Sahapedia, The Wire, People’s Archive of Rural India (PARI) and the websites of the grant-making organization India Foundation for the Arts and the TV show Satyamev Jayate. She has also worked on books for adults and children.
