He has written the script for the popular television show ‘Mano Ya Na Mano’ (Star One) and served as Art Director for the immensely popular Bhojpuri television serial ‘Anjoriya Kahiya Hoi’. (D.D.1).
He received the ‘Bhartendu Harishchandra Award’ (a national literary journalism award) from the Government of India in 1998. Honorary doctorate from Vikramshila Hindi Vidyapeeth. ‘Navlekhan Award’ given by the Govt. of Bihar in 1994.
Coined more than 300 definitions in the field of journalism. He is the first to determine the various styles of journalistic writing. He has conducted many surveys, given many talks, and reports featured in renowned newspapers.
