Kay S. gave up her career as a schoolteacher to follow her second love, writing. Her first remains books and reading. There’s nothing she likes better than to gorge on chips and read thrillers on rainy afternoons or winter evenings. Having travelled India extensively, she has settled in Noida. A postgraduate in English literature from Delhi University, she has been writing for the last ten years. She has written extensively for older children and adults. The Forbidden Forest was her first foray into writing for younger children, which she asserts is far more difficult
