पत्रों की अपनी एक उष्मा होती है, जो अब मोबाइल और मेल के ज़माने में दुर्लभ है। इन पत्रों को पढ़ते हुए हम वह उष्मा भी महसूस करते हैं, और नामवर सिंह की दृष्टि की बारीकी से भी परिचित होते हैं।
