पंडित विद्यानिवास मिश्र के साहित्य का बहुआयामी विस्तार मुख्यत: निबन्ध-विधा में ही फलीभूत हुआ है। इस विधा में जितना काम उन्होंने किया है और इस विधा से जितना बड़ा काम उन्होंने लिया है, उतना हिन्दी में शायद ही किसी और से सम्भव हुआ हो। देश-दुनिया, सभ्यता-समाज, धर्म-संस्कृति, इतिहास, राजनीति, भाषाशास्त्र, साहित्यशास्त्र, कला समेत सभी कुछ को उन्होंने निबन्ध में समेटा है। एक लेखक के रूप में उन्होंने अपनी निष्ठा सदैव पाठक के प्रति रखी। वह पाठक जिसे उन्होंने बल-विद्या-बुद्धि किसी भी मामले में अपने से घटकर नहीं माना। उनका पाठक उन्हीं की तरह उनके गाँव-घर का है, और अपनी व्याप्ति में पूरे संसार का। उनके निबन्धों में जो व्यक्तित्व व्यंजित हुआ है, वह जितना अपना है, उतना ही उनके पाठक का भी। एक नितान्त गँवई व्यक्तित्व जिसके लिए जीव-जन्तु, नदी, पेड़, पहाड़ ऋतु का भी अपना व्यक्तित्व है। विद्या बोझ न बन जाए, इसके प्रति उनकी प्रतिश्रुति इतनी प्रबल है कि समीक्षा, साहित्येतिहास और काव्यशास्त्र आदि क्षेत्रों में अत्यन्त महत्त्वपूर्ण कार्यों के बावजूद उन्होंने आग्रहपूर्वक अपनी पहचान साहित्य के एक विद्यार्थी की ही बनाए रखी। सच तो यह है कि साहित्य में सैद्धान्तिक ही नहीं, व्यावहारिक स्तर पर भी ‘सहृदय’ को, ‘सामाजिक’ को, ‘सहृदय सामाजिक’ को जो सम्मान पं. विद्यानिवास मिश्र ने, उनके साहित्य-कर्म ने दिया, वह अभूतपूर्व है। उनके समग्र रचना-कर्म से इस संचयन में निबन्धों के अलावा उनके रचना-संसार के अल्पज्ञात और अज्ञात कोने-अँतरों का प्रतिनिधित्व करने का प्रयास भी किया गया है। पाठक यहाँ कविता, काव्यान्तर, ध्वनि-रूपक, व्यंग्य-बन्ध, साक्षात्कार, संवाद, व्याख्या, अनुवाद और उनके पत्र-व्यवहार की भी झलक पा सकेंगे। साथ ही विद्वान सम्पादकगण के अथक परिश्रम से यह भी सम्भव हुआ है कि पंडित जी की विराट निबन्ध-सम्पदा का हर रंग, हर रूप इसमें मुखर हो सके।

In this book I have developed a simple technique and formula for investment in stock markets. My students also appreciate that understanding the functioning of stock market is quite easy. I have devised some theories—basic theories that work quite effectively in the stock market. They work smoothly in India and, after conducting many workshops on them, I wish to present those theories to my reader. My efforts are constrained by time. However, a book does not have any such limitation. It may be easily accessible to anybody. For me, it's a big challenge to conduct multiple seminars across India. This requires plenty of time and a lots of effort. I am not capable of training more than a lac of people in my entire lifetime. There is great demand for education and hence, I have penned this book.

The world of tribes in India is still undiscovered and it often appears mysterious to the common man. Their peculiar belief system, worship of myriad spirits, animals, plants, hills, rivers and mountains compound the mystery. Even today, their world view, lifestyle, ritual and value system remain beyond the grasp of the mainstream society. Tribes are often dismissed as just animists, without a philosophy. Scholars so far have been dwelling mostly on the anthropological aspects of the tribes. This book is the first systematic effort to deal with the tribes from the point of view of philosophy. The work goes beyond what appears about the tribes on the surface level, and delves into their world of cosmology, metaphysics, aesthetics, epistemology and eschatology, man-animal-nature relations, gods, spirits, body and soul. Though the book is a work of philosophy, it chooses to avoid dry and cumbersome _ philosophical process; but in the final analysis succeeds to bring forth the philosophy of the tribal community in a manner appealing even to the general readers.
