Rajat Chakraborty
An Engineer by degree (NIT-Allahabad), Entrepreneur at heart, and Writer by accident - Rajat Chakraborty, while heading the Operations for an ed-tech venture, Acadview (acquired by Upgrad), found himself meeting and interacting with hundreds of college students across India who were clueless about what to do and/or how to do it. He found that most of the youth were blindly following the advice of others or were guided by herd-mentality with no clarity of thoughts. When some motivated students and his passionate college juniors asked him the same questions over and over again - “What should I do”, “How do I know/choose what to do/pursue” – he started writing ‘Trapped’ to address those questions. Rajat had realized the importance of self-awareness (and self-discovery) in his sophomore year, and since then, has been actively investing in the same.
