Belle Monappa Hegde (born 18 August 1938) is a cardiologist, professor of medicine, and author. He served as the vice chancellor of Manipal Academy of Higher Education from 1999 to 2003. He was awarded the Padma Bhushan in 2010 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2021. He has supported homeopathy, a pseudoscientific system of alternative medicine, and quantum healing.
