Had the terrorist attack been confined to Pulwama and the martyrdom of the Indian CRPF, there was no point for me to pen this novel Surgical Strike. But when the political flames began to swallow the nation and its social fabric to exploit the situation, it was obvious for the protagonist Aajivak Babu to be involved in surgical strikes on different fronts. He collides with the culture of becoming a large gathering turned into robots, sheep, mindless crowd, a product ‘For Sale’ with their remote controls in the hands of unbridled radical forces to hostage the constitutional institutions where media play as an auctioned players of ‘Indian Media Premier league’, then what bitter experience the Indian society and the nation pass through, ‘Surgical Strike’ mirrors it all as lifeline of the novel.

साहस, शौर्य, नेतृत्व, कर्मठता, वीरता, निर्भयता-किसी एक व्यक्ति में इन सबका समुच्चय होना कठिन होता है, लगभग दुर्लभ। परंतु भारत में शौर्य के प्रतीक हैं हमारे राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा सलाहकार श्री अजीत डोभाल। वह भारतीय पुलिस सेवा के सबसे सम्मानित अधिकारियों में से एक हैं। 'परम वीर चक्र' के बाद दूसरा सर्वोच्च वीरता पुरस्कार ' कीर्ति चक्र' पानेवाले पहले पुलिस अधिकारी हैं। उन्होंने अनेक कठिन और खतरों से भरे हुए ऑपरेशंस का सफल संचालन व नेतृत्व कर भारतवर्ष की अखंडता को अक्षुण्ण रखने में अप्रतिम योगदान दिया है। उन्होंने मिजोरम विद्रोह में एक फील्ड ऑपरेटिव के रूप में नाम कमाया, जहाँ उन्होंने विद्रोही नेता लालडेंगा को काबू किया। सन्‌ 1989 में उन्होंने अमृतसर में स्वर्ण मंदिर से आतंकवादियों को निकालने के लिए ' ऑपरेशन ब्लैक थंडर' में पंजाब पुलिस एवं राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा गार्ड के साथ एक आई.बी. टीम का नेतृत्व किया। भारत में इसलामी आतंकवाद के खिलाफ महत्त्वपूर्ण अभियानों को उन्होंने दिशा दी और सन्‌ 1993 में मुंबई बम धमाकों के बाद अंडरवर्ल्ड गैंगस्टर दाऊद इब्राहिम को पकड़ने के लिए बनाई गई टीम का नेतृत्व भी किया। 1999 में एयर इंडिया की फ्लाइट को अपहत करके कंधार लेकर गए आतंकियों से यात्रियों की रिहाई के लिए हुई वार्त्ता के भी वह हिस्सा रहे। सर्जिकल स्ट्राइक, डोकलाम विवाद, अनुच्छेद 370 हटने के बाद कश्मीर में हालात पर नियंत्रण, म्याँमार में सैन्य ऑपरेशन इत्यादि जैसे दर्जनों साहसिक अभियान उनके नाम हैं। राष्ट्र की सुरक्षा और सम्मान को सर्वोपरि माननेवाले, दृढ़ एवं कठोर निर्णय लेने में किंचित्‌ न झिझकने वाले, अजीत डोभालजी की यह प्रेरक जीवनी उनके समर्पित राष्ट्र- जीवन की एक झलक मात्र है।

Widely known as the “Father of Value Investing”, Benjamin Graham was a British-born American researcher, economist, professor and investor. This book is an attempt by the author to introduce Benjamin Graham and his life to the world. So, that everyone could learn how he became an investing genius and what principles he followed to achieve success. He is the author of the popular investing book named “The Intelligent Investor”. The book is considered the investor’s bible. Graham has also written another founding text in neoclassical investing with David Dodd named “Security Analysis.” Benjamin Graham was the former mentor of the renowned investor Warren Buffett. He had many other outstanding disciples who had achieved substantial success in the world of investment, including Irving Kahn, Charles Brandes, William J. Ruane, Bert Olden and Walter J. Schloss. Moreover, he has been an inspiration to all who have ever wished to enter the world of investment.

The history of India, so far, has not focused on a civilizational Bharatiya perspective, emphasizing a geo-political history based on the Nation-state paradigm, rather than a geo-cultural practice based on India’s civilizational antiquity. Until recently, history had been viewed from various ideological lenses- Colonial, Nationalist, Marxist, Subaltern, soon and so forth. These schools have been immensely successful not only in tapping the immense range of sources and exploring the various regions and sub-regions across the subcontinent, but have also contributed towards bringing to light important perspectives concerning the political, economic, social and cultural developments in the history of India from the 8th to the 14th centuries. While tapping into these schools has its obvious advantages, in that they have focused on partial aspects of the grand march of the civilization’s history, a lot still needs to be done.

मनुष्य के शरीर में भिन्न-भिन्न कार्यों के लिए अलग-अलग प्रकार की कोशिकाएँ होती हैं। एक ही प्रकार की बहुत-सी कोशिकाएँ मिलकर जो संरचना बनाती हैं, उसे ऊतक कहते हैं।

एक ही तरह के बहुत से ऊतक मिलकर शरीर के अंग विशेष का निर्माण करते हैं। उदाहरणार्थ—मस्तिष्क के निर्माण में तंत्रिका कोशिकाएँ भाग लेती हैं। ये पहले ऊतक बनाती हैं और ऊतक मिलकर ही मस्तिष्क और तंत्रिका तंत्र का निर्माण करते हैं। इसी तरह पेशीय ऊतक, शरीर की पेशियों का निर्माण करते हैं। सम्बन्धित रचना के अनुसार ऊतकों के भी कई प्रकार होते हैं, जैसे संयोजी ऊतक, जो शरीर के अंगों को परस्पर जोड़े रखता है। अस्थि ऊतक जो अस्थियाँ बनाते हैं। उपकला ऊतक त्वचा या अंगों की ऊपरी पर्त का निर्माण करता है। बहुत से ऊतक मिलकर शरीर के अंग और विभिन्न प्रणालियाँ बनाते हैं और इन अंगों और प्रणालियों से मिलकर पूरा शरीर बनता है।
