- Description: ‘मुझे चाँद चाहिए’ की जगह ‘मुझे सूरज चाहिए’ की सशक्त दावेदारी ठोकती तीन अलग-अलग आयु वर्ग की स्त्रियाँ। जो अपने ही साथ भगवान या तथाकथित भगवान की भी आज़ादी की माँग करती हैं। मुझे चाँद चाहिए ये इच्छा जहाँ एक सादगी भरी सौम्य ऊँचाई की, अस्तित्व की माँग हैं। वहीं मुझे सूरज चाहिए अधिक उग्र किंतु आत्मविश्वास से सूरज को सम्भाल लेने की भावना को इंगित करती है। ये किसी ऐसे फ़रियादी की फ़रियाद भी लगती है जो सहनशक्ति के आख़िरी छोर पर आ पहुँचा है और अब चाँद की शीतलता भरी ऊँचाई नहीं आकाश के भाल पर चमकते सूरज की गर्मी ही उसे ठंडक दे सकती है। आकाश माथुर का लिखा ये उपन्यास शिवना प्रकाशन से आया है। जिसका विमोचन 2024 के विश्व पुस्तक मेला नई दिल्ली में हुआ। इस से पहले उनका उपन्यास ‘उमेदा-एक योद्धा नर्तकी’ सफलता अर्जित कर चुका है और आज भी चर्चित है। इस उपन्यास की कहानी शुरू होती है एक सम्भ्रांत परिवार की मध्य-आयु की एक विधवा के सादे जीवन के साथ जिसे एक भरा-पूरा संयुक्त परिवार बहुत सम्मान के साथ देखता है और पूजता है। साथ ही परिवार की एक पुत्र-वधू और उसकी बेटी के अपने-अपने पीढ़िगत संघर्षों को उपन्यास बहुत संवेदना के साथ चित्रित करता है। मध्य-प्रदेश के ग्रामीण समाज की कुरितियों को बहुत विस्तार से आकाश स्पष्ट करते हैं। ये सामाजिक कुरीतियाँ आख़िर तो स्त्री के मन और तन को रौंद कर की ख़ुद को जीवित रखें हुए हैं। वो फिर चाहे शादी की आटा-साटा प्रथा हो या नातरा। आटा-साटा में जहाँ वार या वधू के ससुराल के ही किसी महिला या पुरुष से घर की किसी महिला या पुरुष की शादी कर दी जाती हैं। यानि ये ज़रुरी नहीं आप ससुराल में जाकर अपनी बहन के ननदोई ही बने, आप उसके दामाद भी बन सकते हैं। जिन अयोग्य पात्रों की शादी ना हो रही हो वहाँ प्रभावी परिवार दूसरे परिवार पर इस तरह का दबाव बना लेता है। जिस में आर्थिक कमजोरी सबसे बड़ा कारण होता है। इसी प्रकार नातरा में दूसरी शादी आपसी सहमति से तलाक़ ले कर ली जाती है और दूसरी शादी के एवज़ में परिवार बड़ी रक़म कमाता है। इसमें स्त्री को एक घर से उठ दूसरे घर जा बसने की पीड़ा से गुजरना पड़ता है। रमा ऐसे ही आटा-साटा की चपेट में आकर अपने ही भाई की विधवा सास बन बैठी थी। एक पढ़ी-लिखी उमंगो से भरी लड़की की एक बूढ़े व्यक्ति से शादी, उसके कौन-कौन से अरमानो को तिरोहित करती है इसका वर्णन लेखक ने बहुत संवेदनशीलता के साथ किया है। जंगल को, प्रकृति को सम्मान देना और पूजना हमारी परम्परा है और ये उसकी जीवनदायिनी शक्ति का सम्मान व आदर है। जिसे पूजते-पूजते हम उसकी पूजा में उसे ही नष्ट करने लगते हैं और कर्मकांडों में फँस कर स्वयं की और भगवान की ग़ुलामी की नीवों को पोषित करते हैं। इस भाव की विवेचना, कारण और निवारण पर लेखक ने खुल कर कलम चलाई है और विस्तार के साथ बहुत ही सुलझी हुई भाषा में इस विषय को बरता है। उसमें जहाँ लेखक पर्यावरण संरक्षण और आदिवासी समाज के उपेक्षा के सवाल उठाते हैं। वहीं वो धर्मांधता पर भी कटाक्ष करने से नहीं चूकते। आकाश के स्त्री पात्र परिस्थितियों के शिकार अवश्य हैं, लेकिन कमज़ोर नहीं हैं। और अंत में सशक्त रूप से अपने हिस्से के सूरज के लिए खड़े होते हैं। यहाँ अच्छी बात ये है कि वे एक दूसरे के दुश्मन नहीं है और बहनापे की सहायता से पित्र-सत्ता और रूढ़ियों के ख़िलाफ़ खड़ी होती हैं। जो आकाश के लेखन को सामयिक बनाता है। उपन्यास की भाषा देशकाल - अनुकूल है और सहज है। अपने पात्रों के साथ। एडिटिंग अच्छी है, इसलिए उपन्यास को बहुत अधिक लम्बाई तक ना खींच कर विषयानुसर लेखक कम में ही अपनी बात रख पाने में समर्थ है। जिसके लिए लेखक को बहुत शुभकामनाएँ। ये एक सामाजिक सरोकारों से भरा उपन्यास है जो भगवान सहित अपने पात्रों की वकालत सफलता से करता नज़र आता है। वन और प्रकृति के कुछ द्रश्य बहुत ही सुंदरता से लिखे गए हैं। वहीं स्त्रियों के सन्दर्भ में एक जगह आकाश लिखते हैं। — ‘महिलाओं की ख़ासियत है कि वे उम्र में छोटी होकर भी अपने से बड़ों पर मातृत्व न्योछावर कर देती हैं। जबकि एक छोटा पुरुष इस तरह का व्यवहार अपने से बड़े पुरुष के साथ नहीं कर सकता। असल में महिलाओं का मूल ही प्रेम है।’ वहींं एक जगह वो लिखते हैं। — ‘स्त्रियों के मन और तन पर उनका अपना अधिकार नहीं है। उस पर भी पुरुष, धर्म, समाज और पता नहीं किस-किस का क़ब्ज़ा है।’ सती को पूजना भी कहीं ना कहीं सती-प्रथा को अभी तक सही मानना ही है, परिवर्तन अपने जीवन में ला सकती है तो स्त्री ही ला सकती हैं, जैसी हिम्मत देता आकाश माथुर का ये नया उपन्यास निश्चय ही पठनीय है।
