- Description: बच्चन रचनावली (11 खंड) खंड 1 हिन्दी कविता का एक दौर वह भी था जब हिन्दीभाषी समाज को जीवन के गंभीर पक्ष में पर्याप्त आस्था थी, और कविता भी अपने पाठक-श्रोता की समझ पर भरोसा करते हुए, संवाद को अपना ध्येय मानकर आगे बढ़ रही थी। मनोरंजक कविता और गंभीर कविता का कोई विभाजन नहीं था; न मनोरंजन के नाम पर शब्दकारों-कलाकारों आदि के बीच जनसाधारण की कुरुचि और अशिक्षा का दोहन करने की वह होड़ थी जिसके आज न जाने कितने रूप हमारे सामने हैं, और न कविता में इस सबसे बचने की कोशिश में जन-संवाद से बचने की प्रवृत्ति। हरिवंश राय बच्चन उसी काव्य-युग के सितारा कवि रहे हैं। उन्होंने न सिर्फ मंच से अपने पाठकों-श्रोताओं से संवाद किया बल्कि लोकप्रियता के कीर्तिमान गढ़े। कविता की शर्तों और कवि-रूप में अपने युग-धर्म का निर्वाह भी किया और जन से भी जुड़े रहे। यह रचनावली उनके अवदान की यथासम्भव समग्र प्रस्तुति है। रचनावली के इस नए संस्करण में 1983 में प्रकाशित नौ खंड बढ़कर अब ग्यारह हो गए हैं। रचनावली के प्रकाशन के बाद एक स्वतंत्र पुस्तक के रूप में आया बच्चन जी की आत्मकथा का चौथा भाग खंड दस में और पत्रों समेत कुछ अन्य सामग्री खंड ग्यारह में ली गई है। खंड 2बच्चन रचनावली के दूसरे खंड में निम्नलिखित रचनाएँ क्रमानुसार संगृहीत हैं : 'मिलन यामिनी’ (1950), 'प्रणय पत्रिका’ (1955), 'धार के इधर-उधर’ (1957), 'आरती और अंगारे’ (1958), 'बुद्ध और नाचघर’ (1958), 'त्रिभंगिमा’ (1961), 'चार खेमे चौंसठ खूँटे’ (1962)।खंड 3बच्चन रचनावली के इस तीसरे खंड में बच्चनजी की निम्नलिखित रचनाएँ क्रमानुसार संगृहीत हैं : 'दो चट्टानें’ (1965), 'बहुत दिन बीते’ (1967), 'कटती प्रतिमाओं की आवाज’ (1968), 'उभरते प्रतिमानों के रूप’ (1969), 'जाल समेटा’ (1973), 'प्रारम्भिक रचनाएँ भाग 1-2’ (रचनाकाल : 1928-33; प्रकाशन काल : 1943), अतीत की प्रतिध्वनियाँ और मरघट के कुछ पद (रचनाकाल : 1932-33), 'कुछ नवीनतम कविताएँ’ (रचनाकाल : 1973-83)।खंड 4बच्चन रचनावली के इस चौथे खंड में बच्चनजी के द्वारा अनूदित निम्नलिखित काव्य-कृतियाँ क्रमानुसार संगृहीत हैं : 'खैयाम की मधुशाला’ (1935), 'जनगीता’ (1958), 'चौंसठ रूसी कविताएँ’ (1964), 'मरकत द्वीप का स्वर’ (1965), 'नागर गीता’ (1966), 'भाषा अपनी भाव पराये’ (1970), कुछ स्फुट-असंकलित अनुवाद।खंड 5बच्चन रचनावली के इस पाँचवें खंड में बच्चनजी के द्वारा अनूदित शेक्सपियर के चार नाटक निम्न क्रम से संगृहीत हैं : 'मैकबेथ’ (1957), 'ओथेलो’, (1959), 'हैमलेट’ (1969), 'किंगलियर’ (1972)।खंड 6बच्चन रचनावली के इस छठे खंड में बच्चनजी की कुछ गद्य-कृतियों और उनके कुछ स्फुट लेखन को इस क्रम में प्रस्तुत किया गया है : 'कवियों में सौम्य सन्त’ (1960), 'नये-पुराने झरोखे’, (1962), 'टूटी-छूटी कड़ियाँ’ (1973), 'सोपान’ आदि संकलनों—संचयनों की भूमिकाएँ और कुछ असंकलित लेख।खंड 7बच्चन रचनावली के इस सातवें खंड में बच्चनजी की आत्मकथा के प्रथम दो भाग प्रस्तुत किए जा रहे हैं : 'क्या भूलूँ क्या याद करूँ’ (1969), 'नीड़ का निर्माण फिर’ (1970)।खंड 8बच्चन रचनावली के इस आठवें खंड में आत्मकथा का तीसरा भाग 'बसेरे से दूर’ (1977) और उनकी डायरी 'प्रवास की डायरी’ (1971) प्रस्तुत की जा रही है।खंड 9बच्चन रचनावली के इस नवें खंड में बच्चनजी का विविध लेखन निम्न क्रम में संगृहीत है : वार्ताएँ, साक्षात्कार, पुस्तक-समीक्षाएँ, कहानियाँ, बच्चों के लिए लिखी कविताएँ और पत्र।खंड 10बच्चन रचनावली के इस दसवें खंड में बच्चनजी की आत्मकथा का वह अन्तिम चौथा भाग संकलित किया गया है जो अभी तक 'दशद्वार’ से 'सोपान तक’ शीर्षक से स्वतंत्र रूप में उपलब्ध था। आत्मकथा के पहले तीन भाग 'क्या भूलूँ क्या याद करूँ’, 'नीड़ का निर्माण फिर’ और 'बसेरे से दूर’ रचनावली के सातवें-आठवें खंडों में पहले से ही संकलित हैं।खंड 11बच्चन रचनावली का यह संस्करण इस खंड के साथ पूर्ण होता है। इस खंड में उनकी कुछ असंकलित कविताओं, एक साक्षात्कार, एक भाषण और एक भूमिका के अतिरिक्त मुख्यत: उनके पत्र हैं। बच्चनजी ने अपने जीवन में इतने अधिक पत्र लिखे थे, जो यदि एकत्र हो सकते तो बीस-पच्चीस मोटे खंडों में समाते। उन्होंने स्वयं कम-से-कम 50 हज़ार पत्र लिखने की बात स्वीकार की है।
