संवत् 1631 में तुलसीदासजी ने श्रीरामचरितमानस की रचना प्रारंभ की। दो वर्ष, सात महीने और छब्बीस दिन में यह अद्भुत ग्रंथ संपन्न हुआ। सुंदरकांड मूलतः गोस्वामी तुलसीदास कृत इसी श्रीरामचरित मानस का एक भाग है। सुंदरकांड में हनुमानजी द्वारा किए गए महान् कार्यों का वर्णन है। मानस पाठ में सुंदरकांड के पाठ का विशेष महत्त्व माना जाता है। सुंदरकांड में हनुमान का लंका प्रस्थान, लंका दहन कर लंका से वापसी तक के घटनाक्रम आते हैं। साथ ही उनकी असीम शक्ति, बुद्धि-कौशल और अनन्य भक्ति का पता चलता है। सुंदरकांड का पारायण वाले साधक को असीम ऊर्जा और प्रेरणा प्राप्त होती है।

- Description: "कलकत्ता के पास बैरकपुर की सैनिक छावनी में 34वीं बंगाल नेटिव इन्फैंट्री की पैदल सेना के सिपाही नंबर 1446 का नाम मंगल पांडे। भारत के पहले स्वातंत्र्य समर की ज्वाला सन् 1857 में उन्हीं के प्रयासों से धधकी। दरअसल 20 मार्च, 1857 को सैनिकों को नए प्रकार के कारतूस दिए गए। उन कारतूसों को मुँह में दाँतों से दबाकर खोला जाता था। वे गाय और सूअर की चरबी से चिकने किए गए थे, ताकि हिंदू और मुसलिम सैनिक धर्म के प्रति अनुराग छोड़कर धर्मविमुख हों। 29 मार्च को मंगल पांडे ने कारतूसों को मुँह से खोलने की उच्चाधिकारियों की आज्ञा मानने से इनकार कर दिया। सेना ने भी उनका साथ दिया। लेकिन ब्रिटिश उच्चाधिकारियों ने छलबलपूर्वक उन्हें बंदी बना लिया और आठ दिन बाद ही 8 अप्रैल, 1857 को उन्हें फाँसी दे दी। उनकी फाँसी की खबर ने देश भर में चिनगारी का काम किया और मेरठ छावनी से निकला विप्लव पूरे उत्तर भारत में फैल गया, जो स्वातंत्र्य समर के नाम से भी प्रसिद्ध हुआ। इसने मंगल पांडे का नाम इतिहास में स्वर्ण अक्षरों में दर्ज करा दिया। भारतीय क्रांतिकारी आंदोलन के एक प्रमुख हस्ताक्षर की प्रेरणाप्रद जीवनगाथा, जो अन्याय और दमन के प्रतिकार का मार्ग प्रशस्त करती है।"

But in our country, the First Education Policy was framed in 1968, 21 years after independence; the second policy was formulated in 1986; 34 years later, India got the National Educational Policy-2020 on 25th July, 2020. Besides these, certain commissions were also constituted for reforms in education, which made some good recommendations, but these could not be implemented for sheer want of political will. For an instance, the Kothari Commission in 1968, recommended 6 per cent of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for expenditure on education, which was also adopted by the Education Policy-1986, but this is yet to be translated into practice. Sunderkand Published by Prabhat Prakashan ।। जय श्री राम।। गोस्वामी तुलसीदास रचित रामचरितमानस का पंचम सोपान (सुंदरकाण्ड) यह अपने आप में ही एक सुंदर ग्रंथ है। इसको पढ़ने और जीवन में उतारने से सारे कष्ट मीट जाते है। Generally before you start reading Sunderkand you first read 29th Doha of किष्किंधा कांड, but here it is absent. In this book we have full Sunderkand with Hanuman chalisa, and Hanumanashtaka with its description. And also have Ganeshji ki Aarti, Hanumanji ki Aarti, Shree Ram stuti, Shree Ramji ki Aarti, Shree Ramashtak, and 10 hidden secrets of Hanuman chalisa. Description is accurate, the great thing about this is we have index of each event of Sunderkand with images happening in each doha, chopai and छंद. Here we don't get doha and chopai numbers.
