- Description: "भारतीय आध्यात्मिक चेतना के सिरमौर स्वामी विवेकानंद अद्भुत मेधा के स्वामी थे। उन्होंने कहा था कि सारे अनर्थों की जड़ है हमारी गरीबी। स्वामीजी दरिद्रनारायण के दुखों से द्रवित और दलितवर्ग के प्रति किए जानेवाले अन्याय से व्यथित थे। वे जाति-पाँति के घोर विरोधी थे और इसे सामाजिक जीवन का घोर कलंक मानते थे। स्वामीजी का विश्वास था कि प्रत्येक राष्ट्र को अपनी नारी-जाति का सम्मान करना चाहिए। उनकी मान्यता थी कि भारत के सर्वसाधारण में यदि धर्म का संचार हो जाए, तो हम छोटी-छोटी समस्याओं से सहज में ही मुक्त हो जाएँगे। स्वामीजी धर्मपुरुष थे और भारतीय संस्कृति के सजग प्रहरी। वे कट्टर राष्ट्रवादी थे, किंतु उनका राष्ट्रवाद मानवता का पोषक था। स्वामीजी ने धर्म और संस्कृति का निदान करते हुए सोए हुए भारत को उसके गौरवशाली अतीत से परिचित कराया। वेदों और उपनिषदों के प्राचीन आत्मज्ञान के संदेश को पाश्चात्य देशों तक गुंजारित किया। वेदांत के अद्वितीय प्रचारक, भारतीय संस्कृति के विशिष्ट उद्घोषक, मानवता के महान् पोषक, दूरदर्शी विचारक स्वामी विवेकानंद के विचार देश की भावी युवा पीढ़ी के लिए पथ-प्रदर्शक का कार्य करेंगे। इसी भावना और शुभ संकल्प के साथ स्वामीजी के विचारों का यह संकलन प्रस्तुत है।
