- Description: प्रस्तुत संस्करण ‘कबीर ग्रंथावली’ में कबीरदास के जो दोहे और पद सम्मिलित किए गए हैं, उन्हें आजकल की प्रचलित परिपाटी के अनुसार खराद पर चढ़ाकर सुडौल, सुन्दर और पिंगल के नियमों से शुद्ध बनाने का कोई उद्योग नहीं किया गया, वरन् उद्देश्य यही रहा है कि हस्तलिखित प्रतियों या ग्रन्थसाहब में जो पाठ मिलता है, वही ज्यों-का-त्यों प्रकाशित कर दिया जाए। कबीरदास के पूर्व के किसी भक्त की वाणी नहीं मिलती। हिन्दी साहित्य के इतिहास में वीरगाथा काल की समाप्ति पर मध्यकाल का आरम्भ कबीरदास जी से होता है, अतएव इस काल के वे आदिकवि हैं। उस समय भाषा का रूप परिमार्जित और संस्कृत नहीं हुआ था। कबीरदास स्वयं पढ़े-लिखे नहीं थे। उन्होंने जो कुछ कहा है, वह अपनी प्रतिभा तथा भावुकता के वशीभूत होकर कहा है। उनमें कवित्व उतना नहीं था जितनी भक्ति और भावुकता थी। उनकी अटपट वाणी हृदय में चुभनेवाली है। अतएव उसे ज्यों का त्यों प्रकाशित कर देना ही उचित जान पड़ा और यही किया भी गया है। आशा है, पुस्तक विद्यार्थियों, शोधार्थियों तथा पाठकों का मार्गदर्शन करने में सहायक सिद्ध होगी।

- Description: "डॉ. भीमराव अंबेडकर को भारत में दलितों के मसीहा के रूप में देखा जाता है । सन् 1947 में उन्हें संविधान सभा द्वारा स्वतंत्र भारत के लिए संविधान का प्रारूप तैयार करने के लिए गठित प्रारूपण समिति का अध्यक्ष बनाया गया । संविधान के निर्माण में उनकी महत्त्वपूर्ण भूमिका रही । उनका जन्म वर्तमान मध्य प्रदेश के एक छोटे से कस्बे महू (इंदौर के निकट) में 14 अप्रैल, 1891 को हुआ था । वे पिता सूबेदार रामजी एवं माँ भीमाबाई शकपाल की चौदहवीं संतान थे । महार जाति का होने के कारण उन्हें ' अछूत ' समझा जाता था । उनके पिता और दादा ने ब्रिटिश सेना में नौकरी की थी । तत्कालीन सरकार द्वारा सभी सैन्य-कर्मियों के बच्चों की शिक्षा हेतु अच्छे स्कूलों का प्रबंध किया गया था । इसलिए निम्न जाति के होने के बावजूद उन्हें अच्छी शिक्षा प्राप्त हुई । सन् 1937 में डॉ अंबेडकर ने कोंकण क्षेत्र में महारों के सरकारी गुलाम के रूप में काम करने की ' खोती प्रथा ' को समाप्त करने के लिए एक विधेयक पेश किया । 1947 में भारत के स्वतंत्र होने पर उन्होंने कानून मंत्री के पद को सुशोभित किया । उन्होंने आह्वान किया, ' छीने हुए अधिकार भीख में नहीं मिलते, अधिकार वसूल करना होता है । ' उनके उल्लेखनीय कार्यों के लिए वर्ष 1990 में मरणोपरांत उन्हें भारत के सर्वोच्च नागरिक सम्मान ' भारत रत्न ' से सम्मानित किया गया । प्रस्तुत है गरीब, असहाय तथा दबे- कुचलों को ऊपर उठानेवाले एक सच्चे मसीहा की प्रेरणास्पद एवं पठनीय रोचक जीवनी । "
