महात्मा गांधी राजनीतिक, सामाजिक और आर्थिक कार्यों में अंतर करने को तैयार नहीं थे। वे मानते थे कि मनुष्य के सभी कार्य एवं समस्याएँ मूल रूप में नैतिक हैं, अत: उनका समाधान भी नैतिक उपायों से ही संभव है।
