"‘जिम’ कॉर्बेट का जन्म 25 जुलाई, 1875 को नैनीताल में हुआ था। उन्हें ब्रिटेन में शिकारी, प्रकृतिविद्, लेखक और जीव-संरक्षणवादी के रूप में जाना जाता है; लेकिन भारत में वह इन सभी से ज्यादा नरभक्षी बाघों और तेंदुओं के शिकारी के रूप में जाने जाते हैं।
18 साल के होते-होते जिम ने पढ़ाई छोड़ दी। उन्हें बिहार के मोकामा घाट, बंगाल और नॉर्थ-वेस्टर्न रेलवे में फ्यूल इंस्पेक्टर की नौकरी मिल गई।
ब्रिटिश इंडियन आर्मी में कॉर्बेट को कर्नल का पद दिया गया था। उस दौरान कुमाऊँ और गढ़वाल क्षेत्रों के गाँवों में नरभक्षी बाघों और तेंदुओं का आतंक था। जिम कॉर्बेट ने इन इलाकों में 33 बाघों और तेंदुओं का सफाया करके लोगों को इनके आतंक से मुक्ति दिलाई थी।
जिम को बाघों और उनके निवास से बेहद लगाव रहा। उन्होंने अपनी पुस्तकों में बाघों और तेंदुओं के परिवार, उनके आचरण, उनकी दिनचर्या और उनके निवास आदि से संबंधित ढेरों जानकारियाँ दी हैं।

Sati burns her out there in yog Agni. | have presented this so repeated story from a different angle. The first person narration here has been used for the expansion of philosophy and thought that result in giving a contemporary canvas. | have visualised myself as Sati for exploring the in-depth feelings and emotions of a woman. The use of the montage technique has allowed me to pick up some stories from countless stories of shiv and sati and put them into an imaginative, an unputdownable literary piece.
