हिन्दी में डॉ. आंबेडकर पर ढेरों पुस्तकें और पुस्तिकाएँ उपलब्ध हैं। जो पुस्तकें ठीक हैं, वे मिलती नहीं और पुस्तिकाओं में सिवाय व्यक्तिपूजा के कुछ होता नहीं। इन्हीं तथ्यों को ध्यान में रखते हुए यह पुस्तक लिखी गई है, ताकि एक शताब्दी पूर्व जन्मे इस महापुरुष का विराट व्यक्तित्व खुलकर सामने आए और पाठकों को उद्वेलित कर सके।
